THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. If'f'f
AN APPROPRIATE ORDINANCE APPROVING AND
ADOPTING THE 2007 OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE
CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS AND APPROPRIATING THE
AMOUNTS SET FORTH THEREIN FOR THE PURPOSE
OF MAKING UTILITY PAYMENTS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
KANSAS:
Section 1. Incorporating the 2007 Budget.
The 2007 operating budget for the City of Bel Aire, Kansas as set forth in aJ.i.
page document in the format prescribed by the Director of Accounts and Reports of the
Kansas Department of Administration, as required by law, which has been published in
the official city newspaper, in a summary format together with a notice of public hearing,
is hereby incorporated herein by reference and thereby made a part of this Ordinance
with the same force and effect as if it were fully set forth herein. No fewer than three (3)
copies of said 2007 operating budget for the City of Bel Aire, Kansas shall be marked
"2007 operating budget for the City of Bel Aire, Kansas as adopted by Ordinance No.
~I/V ," to which shall be attached a copy of this Ordinance, and filed with the City
Ci8iftO be open to inspection ahd available to the public at all reasonable hours.
Section 2. 2007 Budget Approved and Adopted.
The 2007 operating budget for the City of Bel Aire, Kansas as incorporated
herein by reference and thereby made a part of this Ordinance pursuant to Section 1
heceof is hereby approved and adopted as operating budget for the City of Bel Aire,
Kansas for the year 2007.

Section 3. Utility Fund Payments Appropriated.
The amounts, provided in the 2007 operating budget for the City of Bel Aire,
Kansas as incorporated herein by reference and thereby made a part of this Ordinance
pursuant to Section 1 hereof, for the payment of utilities, including telephone, cable,
internet access, electricity, sewer and water, are hereby authorized and appropriated for
the payment thereof.
Section 4. Amendment to 2007 Budget.
Any amendment to the 2007 operating budget for the City of Bel Aire, Kansas as
incorporated herein by reference and thereby made a part of this Ordinance pursuant to
Section 1 hereof, must be approved by the governing body of the City of Bel Aire,
Kansas in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 79-2929a.
Section 5.
Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in
the official city newspaper.
