Dear Mr. Chris Baranick
On July 7, 2022 your resolution for tax abatement was presented to the Greencastle Common Council
for consideration. After reviewing your actual employment data and the fact that you have closed your
Greencastle facility, it was determined that your company was not in substantial compliance with your
tax abatement requirements.
As the owner of personal property not in substantial compliance, you are entitled to a public hearing,
under IC 6-1.1-12.1-5.9. Said hearing shall be held at our September 8, 2022 Greencastle Common
Council meeting at 7:00 pm. The purpose of the hearing is to determine reconsidering your compliance.
If you have any questions please contact Lynda Dunbar, Greencastle Clerk-Treasurer at 765-848-1510 or

Thank you
Lynda R. Dunbar

Lynda,
IAC Greencastle, LLC is in receipt of the correspondence dated August 1, 2022 that was received from the City of
Greencastle (Attached). IAC Greencastle agrees that they incorrectly included two Form 103-ERA's with their Form 104
personal property tax rendition that was filed in May 2022. IAC Greencastle used a consultant to prepare the renditions
and they forgot to tell the consultant to exclude the forms. As you have referenced in your letter, IAC Greencastle, LLC
has officially closed and sold their facility in the City of Greencastle on July 2022. We appreciate all of the support that
the City of Greencastle has provided over the years. The support allowed us to be competitive in the automotive market
and employ hundreds of people in your community.
IAC Greencastle is waiving their right to a public hearing and agree that the abatements of$371,807 from the two Form
103's that were filed in May be removed from the rendition.
If there are any other items that you need from IAC, please feel free to let me know.
Thanks,
Chris Baranick
