Subsection 8., entitled "Clu,b licenses limit d; hotels and motels excepted." of Section 71-8 of the Code of the Borough of Carteret is hereby amended and supplement d as follows: I. The existing paragraph 7l-8B.(2) sha be redesignated as 7l-8B.(2)(a). 2. A new paragraph 7l-8B.(2)(b) shall b added to read as follows: "To the extent permitted by I" , the fee for the issuance of a new motel or hot license as authorized by paragraph (a) ab ve shall be $50,000.00." Section 2. All Ordinances and/or provisions thereof i consistent with the provision of this Ordinance shall be and are ereby repealed as to the extent of any such inconsistencies. Section 3. If any section, subsection, part, clause or phr e of this Ordinance shall be declared invalid by judgment of an Court of competent jurisdiction, the section, subsection, part, cl use or phrase shall -- be deemed to be sever able from the remaind r of this Ordinance.
