Night-time Utilities Construction Work in Downtown Leesburg
Begins November 4, 2018
Loudoun Street SE, between King Street and Church Street, will be closed from
7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. each night for approximately three weeks.
Leesburg, VA (November 1, 2018) – Construction work to establish water, sewer, and natural
gas service to 32 South King Street will take place at night beginning on Sunday, November 4,
2018.
Loudoun Street SE, from King Street to Church Street, will be closed to through-traffic from 7:00
p.m. to 7:00 a.m. each night, Sunday through Thursday. Through-traffic will be detoured onto
Royal Street SE around the street closure.
The contractor will work with businesses on located on the affected block of Loudoun Street SE
to provide access as needed.
Construction is expected to be completed before Thanksgiving; however, the work schedule is
subject to delays for inclement weather or mechanical difficulties. Any changes will be posted
