_ AN ORDINANCE REGULATING PARKING AT THE C illTERET
WATERFRONT PARK
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borou h ofCarteret, a
municipal corporation of the State of New Jersey, located in Middlese County, thereof,
as follows:
Section 1. The Borough's parking regulations are hereby amende and supplemented
to include the following regulations regarding parking at the Carteret ~aterfront Park.
Regulating parking at the Carteret Waterfront
Park.
A. Parking on the Waterfront Access Road shall be subject to a D ur (4) hour time
limit.
B. Parking in Parking Area A shall be hmited to parking only for the fishing pier,
boat ramp and park use. In addition, parking in Parking Area '-\ shall be subject to
a two (2) hour time restriction for car parking by fishing pier Ild park patrons and
I a six (6) hour time restriction for boat trailers.
C. Parking in Parking Area B will be limited to a six (6) hour tim restriction, to
inc1ude parking for the Cornucopia Cruise Line vessel(s).
Section 2. All Ordinances and/or provisions thereof inconsistent '\ ith the provision of
this Ordinance shall be and are hereby repealed as to the tent of any such
inconsistencies.
Section 3. If any section, subsection, part, clause or phrase of thi Ordinance shall be
- declared invalid by judgment of any Court of competent juris iction, the section,
subsection, part, clause or phrase shall be deemed to be sever able f m the remainder of
this Ordinance.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and pub ication according to
applicable law.
