WHEREAS, the Borough f Car eret is in need of specialized 1 gal services with
regard to various ongoing p rsom el matters; and
WHEREAS, the law firm of enova Bums & Vemoia pas ess the requisite
experience and expertise to brovi e said specialized legal servic 5; and
\VHEREAS, the Chief Pi anCl Officer has certified that fu ds are or wiIl be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, B IT RESOLVED by the Mayor a d Council of the
Borough of Carteret.
1. That the law jirrn 0 Gen va Bums & Vemoia is hereb appointed special
labor counsel at an houd rate set pursuant to the firm' existing contract
with the Borough ~ ram xirnum cost not to exceed $5, 00.00.
2. That a copy of t is R solution shall be forwarded to the Borough's
Purchasing Depart ent.
BE IT FURTHER RE OL VED that this award is made as a professional
services contract pursuant to N. .S.A. 40A: ll-5(l)a. A notice of this award shall
