Duff Allen Gallagher Jamie O'Connell Susan Steele Elodia Thomas The Community Preservation Committee of the City known as the Town of Watertown will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Thursday May 20, 2021 at 7:00 PM with only remote access. The Watertown Community Preservation Plan will be considered for adoption, as required by MGL Chapter 44B, Community Preservation Act (CPA). This state law allows cities and towns to raise funds through a surcharge on local real estate taxes. The residents of Watertown voted to adopt the CPA on November 8, 2016. The Community Preservation Plan outlines the needs, resources, and possibilities of Watertown as well as the application process for the consideration of funding open space and outdoor recreation, community housing, and historic preservation projects. The plan is required to be adopted prior to funding projects. The plan is available for review at https://www.watertown-ma.gov/CPC In accordance with the Governor's Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.
