RESOLUTION NO. 2020-021
A RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE BID FOR THE 2020-2021 MOWING CONTRACT
Whereas, the City of Tiffin requested and received bids on March 19, 2020, for the
2020-2021 Mowing Contract; and,
Whereas, the City received four responsible bids; and,
Whereas, the City has reviewed all of the bids for their completeness and accuracy;
and,
Whereas, the City would like to recommend the 2020-2021 Mowing Contract be
awarded to Graceland Lawn Care.
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to
authorize award the 2020-2021 Mowing Contract to Graceland Lawn Care and
authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the contract as required.

On the 24 day of March, 2020, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Schnedler introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2020-021, A
RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE 2020-2021 MOWING CONTRACT and
made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Walls.
Ayes: Bartels, Schnedler, Walls, Havens, Olney
Nays: None
Absent: None
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2020-021, A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR
THE 2020-2021 MOWING CONTRACT to be adopted and signified his approval of the
same by affixing his signature thereto.
