HomeMy Public PortalAbout043-2000 - Rezoning - 2250 Williamsburg PikeORDINANCE NO. 43-2000 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AT 2250 WILLIAMSBURG PIKE, RICHMOND, INDIANA WHEREAS, the Zoning Map designates and describe the property at 2250 Williamsburg Pike as M-2 General Industrial District; and WHEREAS, it is desirable to change the zoning designation to C-4 General Business District; NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation of the property described below, is hereby changed to C-4 General Business District: Being a part of Fractional Section 24, Township 14 North, Range 2 West in the City of Richmond, State of Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at an iron rod set on the east line of said Fractional Section 24, said point being 1379.45 feet north 0 degrees, 43 minutes, and 00 seconds east of an iron rod at the southeast corner of said Fractional Section 24 and running thence, from said beginning point, north 89 degrees, 22 minutes, and 00 seconds west 400.00 feet to an iron pipe set; thence north 0 degrees, 43 minutes, and 00 seconds east, parallel to the east line of said Fractional Section, 636.30 feet to an iron pipe set; thence north 89 degrees, 23 minutes, and 00 seconds west 700.00 feet to an iron pipe set; thence north 0 degrees, 43 minutes, and 00 seconds east parallel to the east line of Fractional Section 455.44 feet to an iron pipe set on the south right-of-way line of the eastbound exit ramp of Interstate Highway Number 70; thence along said south right-of-way line the following courses and distances: thence northeastwardly, along a curve to the right in said right-of-way line whose chord bears north 88 degrees, 21 minutes, and 00 seconds east, a chord distance of 179.91 feet and whose arc is 180.4 feet to a point 60.00 feet southwardly, measured on the radius of the curve of the centerline of said exit ramp; thence southeastwardly, along a curve to the right in said right-of-way, whose chord bears south 70 degrees, 58 minutes, and 00 seconds east and whose chord measures 264,38 feet, and whose arc is 264.80 feet to a point, said point being the tangency of the curve of the centerline of said exit ramp, and being 70.00 feet southwardly of and at right angles to said centerline; thence south 67 degrees, 57 minutes, and 00 seconds east, along said right-of-way; 224.61 feet to a point 60.00 feet southwardly of and at right angles to the centerline of said exit ramp, said point also being the point of curve of a curve to the left in said right-of-way; thence southeastwardly, along said curve of a curve to the left in said right-of-way; thence southeastwardly, along said curve, whose chord bears south 72 degrees, 18 minutes and 00 seconds east, and whose chord measures 285.43 feet, an arc distance of 286.10 feet to an iron pipe found on the east line of said Fractional Section; thence leaving the south right-of-way of said Interstate Highway, south 0 degrees, 43 minutes, and 00 seconds west, along the east line of said Fractional Section, a distance of 996.73 feet to the place of beginning, containing an area of 16.129 acres.
