HomeMy Public PortalAboutCosts" City of McCall OFFICE OF THE CLERK BOX 1065 MCCALL, IDAHO 83638 December 20, 1993 Judd DeBoer Brown's Industries 101 S. Capitol Blvd. Suite 1203 Boise, ID 83702 Dear Judd, This letter is to advise you that the water line extension from Jacob St. through the GTE yard and connecting and looping that line with the airport water line has been completed. In addition, the city elected to install a line along Highway 55 to Jacob St., which further improves the network in that area. This installation was completed pursuant to the Development agreement addressing Payette Lakes Commercial Center, reference Section 4.04. While not explicit in the terms of that agreement, our subsequent agreement was that the city would undertake the highway crossing and that your effort stopped short of the highway. Our project extended this line across the entire Highway 55 right-of-way. I believe we agreed that it was easier for the city to secure the highway crossing permit from the state. My understanding was that you agreed to reimburse the city the costs of the line to the highway centerline as the agreement anticipates. We received excellent bids on the project and the extended fall allowed for the line completion before snowfall. Only some surface restoration remains to be completed next spring. We believe that this fully satisfies the City of McCall's obligations pursuant to this agreement. Toothman-Orton has prepared the attached cost summary for your share of the work. If you have questions about the calculations, please call. If this cost appears reasonable, please remit to the City the amount shown. Best wishes for pleasant holidays! Sincerely, Arthur J.
