ORDINANCE NO. 2390-1969
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A "SPECIAL USE" IN
R-2 SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICTS OF ORDINANCE
2325-1968 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDI-
NANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA APPROVED
JUNE 3, 1968.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana as follows:
SECTION 1. As provided in Article 21, Section .011 and Article 48 of Ordinance
2325 commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond,
Indiana the following described real estate is allowed as a Special
Use to wit: Residential Development Unit Project to be located at
South "J" and 16th Street, Richmond, Indiana.
Lots 280-290 - Lots 247-253 - Lots 211 and west part of 212 -
Lot 224 all in the Richard's Addition.
SECTION 2. As a condition of the aforesaid Special Use and as an additional re-
striction on said use, the following requirements shall hereafter and
at all times be met by the owner, leasee or any other person, firm
or corporation on using such real estate.
1. That the entire eastern property boundary be screened by natural
foilage of dense shrubbery or trees so as to effectively buffer
adjoining properties.
2. That street trees be provided between the sidewalk and curb along
the entire North property line.
SECTION 3. The Zoning Administrator of the City of Richmond is hereby authorized
and directed, upon enactment and publication of this ordinance, to
record and approve the issuance of a permit for the establishment of
the use herein allowed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval by the Mayor and publications as by law required.
