AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 2391-1969
AN ORDINANCE TO APPROVE A CERTAIN
RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT UNIT PROJECT
ON THE TRACT OF REAL ESTATE KNOWN AS
RICHMOND SPEEDWAY
WHEREAS, Richmond Speedway Associates, the owners of a tract of land con-
sisting of 6.97 acres commonly known as the Richmond Speedway,
filed a petition with the City Clerk for presentation to the
Common Council of a preliminary plan for the use and develop-
ment of said tract of land for a residential unit development
project.
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana referred such
proposal to the City Plan Commission for investigation and public
hearing in accordance with Article 45 of the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Richmond, Indiana.
a WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 25, 1969.
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission of the City of Richmond, Indiana did on April.
22,.1969 by Resolution duly adopted, approve said Residential
Development Unit Project, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof and marked "EXHIBIT A."
WHEREAS, the Applicant has submitted its Final Plan in conformity with
the terms and provisions of Exhibit A.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Report and Recommendation of the Plan Commission for
said Residential Development Unit Project, as described in said
"Exhibit A" be and is hereby approved, and that said developer is
further hereby authorized to complete said project pursuant to
the Final Development Plan, submitted therewith and approved
hereby.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approved by the Mayor and publications as by law
required.
