HomeMy Public PortalAbout2393-1969 - Appropriation - Within the Bureau of Buildings budget - From Services Personal and Sevices Contractual to PropertyORDINANCE NO. 2393-1969 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE BUREAU OF BUILDINGS BUDGET THE SUM OF $175.00 FROM GENERAL G-6 (1-13-132) CONSULTANT FEES, "SERVICES PERSONAL" AND FROM GENERAL G-10 (2-24-241) PRINTING, OTHER THAN OFFICE SUPPLIES, "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL", TO GENERAL G-25 (7-72-725) OFFICE EQUIPMENT, "PROPERTY". WHEREAS, a request has been made by the Bureau of Buildings Department of Richmond, Indiana, to transfer the sum of $175.00 from General G-6 (1-13-132) Consultant Fees, "Services Personal" and from General G-10 (2-24-241) Printing, Other than Office Supplies, "Services Contractual", to General 0-25 (7-72-725) Office Equipment, "Property", and WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, after careful study and consideration on the 13th day of March, 1969, approved that an ordinance be prepared for Common Council' con- sideration to make the above transfer of funds, and WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money for the various functions of the City Government than was appropriated in the Annual budget. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana. SECTION 1. That for the expenses of the City Government and its insti- tutuions for the year ending December 31, 1969 the following money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named for the purpose specified. Said sum being subject to all laws governing the same. Such amount appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures authorized to be made during the year, unless expressly stipulated by law. SECTION 2. That for the fiscal period there is hereby appropriated from the General G-6 (1-13-132) Consultant Fees and General G-10 (2-24-241) Printing, Other than Office Supplies to meet the extraordinary emer- gency declared to exist. Reggested Amount General G-25 (7-72-725) Office Equipment $ 175.00 "Property " SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropri- ations now have unobligated balances which will not be used for the purpose appropriated. IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that such unnecessary existing appropriations be now reduced In amount as follows: and the same is appropriated to the above named item. Requested Reduction General G-6 (1-13-132) Consultant Fees, $ 75.00 "Services Personal" General G-10 (2-24-241) Printing, Other than Office Supplies, "Services Contractual" 10Or0O $ 175.00 Total SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations.
