ORDINANCE NO. 2396-1969
AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE SUMS OF $52,500.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND (CIGARETTE TAX) AND $17,768.70 FROM THE CUMUI A-
TIVE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND TO THE 1%7 CITY HALL FUND.
WHEREAS, there is a need for funds to do those things necessary to com-
plete the new City Building, and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHMOND, INDIANAs
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of the City Government and its insti-
tutions for the year ending Dezember 31, 1969, the following amount of
money Is hereby appropriated and set apttlt from the Cumulative Capital
Improvement Fund (cigarette tax) and from the Cumulative Capital Improve-
ment Fund to the 1967 City Hall Fund for completion of the new City Build-
ing. Said sum being subject to all laws governing the same and such amount
appropriated shall be to include all expenditures authorized to be
made during the year, unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for the said fiscal period, there is hereby appropriated
from the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund (cigarette tax) and the
Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund to the 1967 City Hall Fund for the
completion of the new City Building, the following specified amount to
meet the extraordinary emergencies hereby declared to exists

SECTION 3. Th3s Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws
of the State of Indiana, governing emergency appropriations.
