DECEMBER 4, 2014
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5:00 P.M., Thursday,
December 4, 2014, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 50 North 5th Street, Richmond,
Indiana.
President Robinson called the meeting to order and the following business was conducted
ROLL CALL
Board members present were: Vicki Robinson and Tony Foster. Absent was Dick Foore.
Also in attendance were Walt Chidester, City Attorney; Karen Chasteen City Clerk; Police Major Mark
Connery; Assistant Fire Chief Tim Brown; Boston Township Fire Chief Joe Buckler; Street Superintendent
Tracy Bosell; City Engineer Greg Steins; and, Media.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Foster moved to approve the November 26, 2014 minutes, supported by Ms. Robinson. Upon a vote
viva voce, the motion carried.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
Mr. Foster moved to approve the Claims for Payment dated December 5, 2014, in the amount of Seventy
Six Thousand Eight hundred Seventeen Dollars and twenty nine cents ($76,817.29), supported by Ms.
Robinson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.

Mr. Foster moved to approve, supported by Ms. Robinson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion
carried.

Mr. Foster moved to approve, supported by Ms. Robinson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion

Major Connery acknowledged well respected 24 year veteran of the Police Department Paul Whitehead
who died earlier this week.
