AUTlIORlZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONc RACT FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH CME ASSOCI TES-
JOHN STREET PARK PROJF:CT
\VHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret IS U1 need of special zed engtneenng
services in connection with the John Street Park project; and
'WHEREAS, CME Associates, 1460 Route l) South, Howell, Ne Jersey 07731,
possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said s rvices; and
\VI-IEREAS, CME Associates has submitted a proposal rev sll1g the design
computations and bid documents for the rebidding of the John S 'eet Park project
at a Lotal cost not to exceed $5,000.00; and
'WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposa ; and
\VI-IEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer certifies Lhat funds are or wi]] be
available for said PUlVose,
NO\V, TI-J EREFORF., BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor an Council of the
Borough ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, s 10110ws:
1. The proposal of CME Associates for the special zed cngineering
services for the John Street Park project in the tot ¡ amount not to
exceed $5,000.00 is hereby approved;
2. Annexed hereto is a copy of said proposal;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this award IS made a a professional
services contract pursuant to NJ.S.A. 40A:l1-5(I)a. A notice 0 this award shall
be advertised as required by law.
