RESOLUTION NO. 00 -3971
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY APPROVING THE APPLICATION AND
PROPOSED PURPOSE FOR EXPENDITURE OF LOCAL LAW
ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT (LLEBG) 2000 -LB -BX -0088
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City possesses the legal authority to apply for Local
Law Enforcement Block Grants (LLEBG); and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby authorizes the filing of the LLEBG (2000 -LB-
BX -0088) application, including all understandings, assurances, and certifications contained
therein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temple City directs and authorizes the
Public Safety Manager (or the Senior Management Assistant in the absence of the Public
Safety Manager) as the official representative of the city to act in connection with the
application and to provide such additional information as may be required; and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City in compliance with the provisions of the LLEBG
grant has conducted an advisory board review of proposed use of grant funds on October 19,
2000, and held a public hearing regarding the recommended proposed use of the grant funds
on November 29, 2000;
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City does resolve to
approve the application and proposed purpose for expenditure of LLEBG (2000 -LB -VX -0088)
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED on this 29th day of November 2000.

I, City Clerk of the City of Temple City, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution,
Resolution No. 00 -3971, was adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a
regular meeting held on the 29th day of November 2000, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilman- Breazeai, Gillanders, Wilson, Souder
NOES: Councilman -None
