RESOLUTION NO. 2008-74
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCil OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE
AMENDING COUNCil RESOLUTION NO. 2008-56 AND
ADDING AN ADDITIONAL PUBLIC MEMBER TO THE
HOUSING ADVISORY WORK GROUP
WHEREAS, the Town Council may establish by resolution such other boards or
commissions as it deems necessary pursuant to Section 2.06.010 of the Town Municipal Code;
and
WHEREAS, the Town Council on September 18, 2008 adopted Council Resolution No.
2008-56 establishing the Housing Advisory Work Group; and
WHEREAS, the Housing Advisory Work Group has a membership of twelve persons
and the Council desires to expand the Work Group to have an odd-number of members and to
increase its public membership.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Council of the Town of Truckee
hereby amends Council Resolution No. 2008-56 and the membership of the Housing Advisory
Work Group. The members of the Work Group shall include three members of the public who
have demonstrated an advocacy for affordable housing in Truckee, who have knowledge and
experience in working for or with non-profit organizations, and/or who have knowledge and
experience in the financing and development of commercial and residential projects.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Vice Mayor Dee, seconded by
Council Member Green, at a Regular Meeting of the Truckee Town Council, held on the
18th day of December, 2008 and adopted by the following vote:
AYES:
Council Members; Anderson, deRyk-Jones, Green, Vice Mayor Dee and
Mayor Brown.
NOES:
None.
