RESOLUTION NO. 01 -3978
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
CONFIRMING THEIR ACTION TO UPHOLD THE DECISION OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION BY APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 00-
1453 AT 9611 LAS TUNAS DRIVE (HONG /FEDERATION/TAI JI MEN QIGONG
ACADEMY)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. Based upon information contained in the staff report to the City Council
and information contained in the Planning Commission staff report as well as the Planning
Commission minutes; and based upon testimony received at a noticed pubic hearing before the
Planning Commission on January 9, 2001 and testimony received at a noticed public hearing
before the City Council on February 6, 2001, the City Council approved the Conditional Use
Permit based upon the findings and subject to the Conditions contained in Planning Commission
Resolution No. 01- 1970PC, except that the use shall be reviewed in six months.
SECTION 2. This project should not result in significant effects upon the environment,
and a Negative Declaration has been prepared in accordance with the State CEQA Guidelines.
The initial statement as prepared indicates there is no potential for adverse impact upon the
environment as it relates to all wild animals, birds, plants, fish, amphibians and related ecological
communities, including the habitat upon which the wildlife depends for its continued viability.
SECTION 3. Accordingly, Conditional Use Permit 00 -1453 was approved on February
6, 2001 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilman - Breazeal, Brook, Wilson
NOES: Councilman - Gillanders, Souder
ABSENT: Councilman -None
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 20TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 2001

1, City Clerk of the City of Temple City, do hereby certify that Resolution No. 01 -3978 was
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City held on the 20th day of
February, 2001. It was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council, approved and
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a regular meeting held on the 20th of
February, 2001 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilman- Breazeal, Brook, Gillanders, Wilson, Souder
NOES: Councilman -None
ABSENT: Councilman -None
