RESOLUTION NO. 01 -3981
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPLY FOR A MSRC
GRANT FROM THE AQMD
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved installation of a natural gas fueling station; and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City agrees to execute Memorandums of Understanding with the City
of San Gabriel and the County of Los Angeles to allow them use of the fueling station; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Temple C:t; commits to implementation of the project per a signed
agreement executed between the City and Gas Equipment Systems, Inc. on November 7, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City has allocated up to $71,480 of AB2766 Subvention Funds for
the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to apply for the MSRC Grant; and,
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding
(MOU) with the City of San Gabriel and the County of Los Angeles; and,
SECTION 3. The installation of a compressed natural gas fueling station is hereby approved; and,
SECTION 4. AB2766 funds in an amount not to exceed $71,480 are hereby appropriated for said
project; and,
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED on this 16th day of January, 2001.
