Home My Public Portal AboutOrd. 06-47 (@rúimutte of t4e ~orou£4 of QIurterd, ~. ] 06-47 No.___ I 1\ AN ORDINANCE TO ADOPT A REDEVELOPMENT LAN FOR THE WEST CARTERET MINUE STREET RETAIL REDE LOPMENT AREA, PHASE II, IN THE BOROUGH OF CART "RET BE IT ORlJAlNED, by the Mayor and Council of the Boroug of Carteret, as follows: Section 1. a) The Borough of Carteret P1anning Board, after due con ¡ùeration and in conformance with the Local Housing and Redevelopmen Law, (NJ,S.A. 40A:12A-l, .Ë! ~, "Redevelopment Law"), has re ommended the adoption of the West Carteret Minue Street Retail Rede e!opmcnt Plan, Phase II, prepared by Beacon Plaming and Consulting Services, LLC, dated June 2006, ("Redevelopment Plan") for the \Vest Carteret Minue Street Retail Redevelopment Area established by Resolu ion No. 06-211, ("WCMSRRAP2), with the area of the WCMSRRAP2, 51 own as Figure 2 of the Redevelopment Plan; and b) The Redevelopment Plan proposes development gui e1ines for the WCMSRRAP2 as set forth in Section 3.0 ~ gg. of the Redevelopment Plan; and c) The Redevelopment Plan is in furtherance of the goals a ld objectives of the Borough with respect to the WCMSRRAP2 and the Redevelopment Law; and d) The Borough Council of the Borough of Carteret b reviewed the Redevelopment Plan and held a public hearing about the Redevelopment Plan to receive the comments of the public and interested a¡1ics; and e) The Redevelopment Plan wiJl be attached hereto as xhibit A upon adoption of this Ordinance and is presently on [¡Ie wi h the Borough Clerk's Office for review. The Redevelopment Plan is adopted as the official redevelopment plan for the WCMSRRAP2, in accordance with th Local Housing and Redevelopment Law. SECTION 3.
