A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AND CREATING A REPAIR AND DEMOLITION
FUND PURSUANT TO THE UNIFORM CODE FOR THE ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS
BUILDINGS.
WHEREAS, Moab City Council on the 17th day of July, A.D.,
1991, adopted Ordinance No. 91-12 providing for the adoption of the
Uniform Code for Abatement of Dangerous Buildings as part of the
Moab City Code; and
WHEREAS, the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous
Buildings provides for the establishment of a repair and demolition
fund to defray the costs and expenses which may be incurred in
doing or causing to be done the necessary work of repair or
demolition of dangerous buildings;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Moab City Council
and the Moab City Council does hereby create and establish a repair
and demolition fund from which payments shall be made upon demand
of the director of public works to defray the costs and expenses
which may be incurred in doing or causing to be done the necessary
work of repair or demolition of dangerous buildings.
