AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE GOVERNOR’S COUNCIL ON IMPAIRED AND DANGEROUS DRIVING
WHEREAS, the Governor’s Council on Impaired and Dangerous Driving has grant funding available to assist in various law enforcement activities; and
WHEREAS, the Richmond Police Department desires to submit a grant application for use in the Operation Pull Over Program
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
The Richmond Police Department is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Governor’s Council on Impaired and Dangerous Driving for use in the Operation Pull Over Program.
The Richmond Police Department is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Eleven Thousand One Hundred Twenty-Seven Dollars and Thirty Cents ($11,127.30)
Said funds, if awarded to the Richmond Police Department, shall be appropriated for use for use in the Operation Pull Over Program.
Passed and adopted this 17th day of July, 2000, by the Common Council for the City of Richmond, Indiana.
