AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT VITH
CiI'ΠASSOCIATES FOR CORNELL ESTATES ROAD PRO RAM
\VHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional e gmeenng
services in connection with the Contract Administration and Inspectio Phase for
the Cornell Estates Road Program; and
\VIIEREAS, CME Associates, 1460 Route 9 South, Howell, New Jer ey 07731,
possesses the requisite experience and expeliise to provide said services and
WHEREAS, CME Associates has submitted a proposal to provide sa d services
at a total cost not to exceed $127,400.00; and
\VIIEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; nd
\VHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has ce11ified that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NO\V, THEIŒFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Co neilofthe
Borough ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as fall ws:
1. The proposal from CME Associates for professional engineeri g serVIces
related to the Contract Administration and Inspection' Fha e for the
Comell Estates Road Program, at a total cost not to exceed $12 ,400.00 is
hereby approved;
2. A copy of this Resolution to be forwarded to the Borough's urchasing
Department and CME Associates.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this award is made as a p 'ofessiona!
services contract pursuant to N.J.SA 40A: 11-5( l)a A notice of this award
shall be advertised as required by law.
