McCall in Bloom Month
Proclamation
WHEREAS, the McCall Improvement Committee is an advisory committee to the McCall City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the McCall Improvement Committee has the mission statement of "improving the
economy of McCall by enhancing the built environment"; and
WHEREAS, the McCall Improvement Committee created the McCall in Bloom community
beautification program in 2010; and
WHEREAS, the McCall in Bloom community beautification program includes adding flowers, trees,
shrubs and other landscaping improvements to the built environment; and
WHEREAS, over 100 local citizens, businesses, non-profit entities, and institutions have participated
in the McCall in Bloom program since 2010; and
WHEREAS, the McCall Improvement Committee wishes to encourage all citizens, businesses, non-
profits entities and institutions to become involved in community beautification to help further the
objectives of improving the local economy and quality of life of McCall;
NOW, THEREFORE, the McCall City Council and I, the Mayor of the City of McCall have the
distinct honor of proclaiming the month of July, 2018 as
McCALL IN BLOOM MONTH
throughout McCall and encourage all of its citizens, businesses, non-profit entities and institutions to
use McCALL IN BLOOM MONTH to enhance McCall through community beautification efforts and
thereby increase livability and enhance community pride.

hand at the City of McCall in Idaho on this 28th day of
June in the year of 2018.
