Proclamation
'Whereas the Rotary Club of McCalGPayette lakes was organized and chartered
in 1949 and is the largest and most active club in Valley County;
-Whereas the Rotary Club of McCall -Payette Lakes has continued to be an ardent
supporter of the greater McCall and global community through widespread
efforts of fundraising and service projects, -which include the Rotary
International campaign of eliminating polio world-wide;
-Whereas in the past five (5) years alone, the Rotary Club of McCall -Payette Lakes
has loggedin over5,50o service hours in community projects and has contributed
over $150,000 in youth scholarships and grants to various other community
organizations;
'Whereas the presence and efforts of our local Rotary Club significantly impacts
the local economy;
'Whereas the leadership of Rotary Club of McCall -Payette Lakes has consistently
demonstrated a model of excellence and Service .Adave Self,
Therefore: The McCall City Council, located -within `Valley County, Idaho does
hereby proclaim June 27, 2018, as
Rotary Club of McCa(ZPayette Lakes Day,
and hereby calls upon allmembers of the greater McCall community to recognize
the Club's selfless sacrifice, community -minded spirit and dedication to making
our neighborhoods, schools and community a better place to live. tiVith sincere
gratitude, the City of .McCall honors the men and -women of our local Rotary
Club.
