RESOLUTION NO. 2020-025
A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF TIFFIN TO PROHIBIT PARKING BETWEEN THE SIDEWALK AND THE
CURBLINE
Whereas, The City Council recognizes the need to amend the municipal code of Tiffin
to prohibit vehicular parking between the sidewalk and the curbline, and;
Whereas, The City Council wishes to set a public hearing to discuss an ordinance
amendment;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the
date of May 5, 2020, for a public hearing to amend the municipal code of Tiffin to
prohibit parking between the sidewalk and curbline.

On the 21 day of April, 2020, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Olney introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2020-025, A RESOLUTION
SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
TIFFIN TO PROHIBIT PARKING BETWEEN THE SIDEWALK AND THE CURBLINE
and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Bartels.
Ayes: Schnedler, Walls, Havens, Olney, Bartels
Nays: None
Absent: None
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2020-025, A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC
HEARING DATE TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN TO PROHIBIT
PARKING BETWEEN THE SIDEWALK AND THE CURBLINE to be adopted and
signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
