A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A SISTER CITY RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE
CITY OF MOAB, STATE OF UTAH, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THE
CITY OF ROSSLAND, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA
WHEREAS, in order to promote exchanges in educational,
cultural, recreational and economic fields, and to strengthen the
ties of mutual understanding and friendship and to help promote
the welfare of the citizens of the City of Moab and the City of
Rossland.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Moab City
Council that the City of Moab, State of Utah, United States of
America, does hereby agree to the twinning relationship with the
City of Rossland, British Columbia, Canada, and does hereby agree
to make every effort to cooperate in the development of
relations, and to promote exchanges between public organizations
and citizens' groups or associations in the two communities.
PASSED AND APPROVED in open Council by a majority vote of
the Governing Body of Moab City Council this
