RESOLUTION NO. 01 -4005
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY AUTHORIZING A FEE FOR AN AGENDA
SUBSCRIPTION AND FOR RESEARCH.
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City would like to provide an opportunity for interested
parties to subscribe to receive copies of the City Council Agenda on an ongoing basis; and,
WHEREAS, from time to time the City receives public records requests which involve
significant research into the historical records of the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City desires to recover the costs of offering said subscription and
research.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. An Agenda Subscription Fee is hereby established in the initial amount
of $60 per fiscal year; and,
SECTION 2. A Research Fee equal to the hourly rate plus a cash equivalent for
benefits of the researching City employee is hereby established; and,
SECTION 3. The following entities are exempted from the fees established pursuant
to Section 1 and Section 2 hereof:
• Other Government Agencies
• Adjudicated Newspapers
• Members of the City Staff, Members of the City Council, and Members of
the City's Commissions; and,
SECTION 4. The City Manager is hereby authorized to develop administrative
regulations to implement said Fees, including a provision allowing pro- ration of either or both
fees; and,
SECTION 5. The City Council may, from time to time, adopt a resolution changing the
amounts of said fees.

I, City Clerk of the City of Temple City, do hereby certify that Resolution No. 01 -4005 was
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City held on the 17th day of
April, 2001. It was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council, approved and signed by
the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of April, 2001
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilman - Souder, Vizcarra, Zovak, Gillanders, Wilson
NOES: Councilman -None
