RESOLUTION NO. 01 -4009
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
CHANGING THE TITLE OF DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY SERVICES TO
DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION AND ADOPTING A REVISED
SCHEDULE OF FULL TIME EMPLOYEE CLASSES AND RANGES
WHEREAS, the City Manager, upon review of the performance and duties of the Director
of Community Services, has recommended a salary adjustment for said Director; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to implement a salary schedule for City employees
which spends city resources wisely yet promotes equity and fairness; and,
WHEREAS, the new duties placed upon the Director of Community Services do warrant
a salary adjustment and a change in title to reflect said duties.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. The Schedule of Full Time Employee Classes and Ranges attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" is hereby approved with an effective date of July 1, 2001; and,
SECTION 2. The Director of Community Services shall, effective July 1, 2001, be
known as the Director of Parks and Recreation.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of May, 2001.

adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City held on the 1st day of
May, 2001. It was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council, approved and signed by
