A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING
THE PLANS, CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND WORKING DETAILS FOR
DESTRUCTION OF WATER WELLS NUMBERS 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 15A, AND 20,
PROJECT NO. 4011.67.878 AND AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
WORKS' ENGINEERING STAFF TO SOLICIT BIDS
WHEREAS, the plans, contract documents and working details 'for the
Destruction of Water Wells Numbers 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 15A and 20, Project No. 4011.67.878
are complete and ready for the City Council's review, consideration and adoption; and
WHEREAS, said project is funded with. 1999 Water Bond Funds; and
WHEREAS, the estimated .project cost is $162,000; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has determined that said project is
in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is categorically
:exempt pursuant to Section 15301 (C) of the CEQA guidelines pertaining to statutory
exemptions; and
WHEREAS, the .project is ready to be advertised for the solicitation of bids.
NOW, THEREfORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD~DOES
.HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND.RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Destruction of Water Wells Numbers 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 15A and
20 is in conformance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is
categorically exempt.

Section 2. That the City Council~~ hereby ,_. adopts the Plans, Contract
.Documents and Working Details for the Destruction of~Water Wells Numbers 1, 3, 4, 6,
7, 15A and 20, Project Number 4011.67.878.
Section 3. That the City Council authorizes the solicitation of bids for said
project.
Section 4. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
