A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE STREET CLOSURE FOR LYNWOOD ROAD AND- DENY' WAIVING THE
PERMIT FEES IN THE AMOUNT OF $538.00 '~ ~ ~~
WHEREAS, a request was made by the by the First Church of Deliverance on a
Lynwood Road to close a portion. of Lynwood Road (between Olive Street and Lewis
Street); and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the closure is to facilitate the funeral services for the
Church's Pastor; and
WHEREAS, The First Church of Deliverance located on Lynwood Road is
requesting the street closure for Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 10:00 A.M. to
2:00 'P.M.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. ~ The City Council denies the waiver of permit fees.
Section 2. The City Council approves the temporary street closure of Lynwood
Road- between Olive Street and Lewis Street for Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from
10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. to facilitate the funeral services for the Church Pastor. Closing
this .portion of Lynwood Road is necessary for the safety and protection of funeral
procession, who are to use this portion of the street during the temporary closing.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
