RESOLUTION NO. 01-4024
A RESOLUTION OF 'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
SUPPORTING L.A. COUNTY SUPERVISOR MICHAEL ANTONOVICH AND
REQUESTING TO REMAIN IN THIS FIFTH SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE
AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, The County of Los Angeles is now considering several different proposals to redistrict
the Board of Supervisors electoral districts; and
WHEREAS, The City of Temple City has been in Supervisor Michael Antonovich's Fifth Supervisorial
District for many years; and
WHEREAS, Supervisor Michael Antonovich is well acquainted with the issues and concems of
Temple City and the San Gabriel Valley; and
WHEREAS, The City of Temple City has been well represented by Supervisor Michael Antonovich
for many years;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City of Temple City does hereby express its support for L.A. County Supervisor
Michael Antonovich; and
SECTION 2. The City of Temple City formally requests Temple City remain in Supervisor Michael
Antonovich's Fifth District when redistricting plans are being considered and eventually approved.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 5th day of June, 2001.

I, City Clerk of the City of Temple City, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution, Resolution No. 01-
4024, was adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting held on the 5th day of
June, 2001, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilman - Souder, Vizcarra, Zovak, Gillanders, Wilson.
NOES: Councilman -None
ABSENT: Councilman -None
