(1)- 1)0 DJle r '/\,IOr"on_ Septembe.- 21, 2006 _..~ APPROVING CHANGE ORDER N HILL DISTRICT STORMWATER IMPROVE ENT PROJECT- NORTHEAST REMSCO CONSTRUC ION cription of work to reduc add supplemental item WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the Borough of Cartere has previously awarded' contract to Northeast Remsco Construction, in the amount of 1,514,037,50, for the Hil District Stormwater Improvements Project; and WHEREAS, the Borough's Consulting Engincer for the pro eet, T&M Associates, ha advised the Governing Body that a modification to said ontract is reasonable an necessary and has recommended that the aforesaid contract c modified in accordanc with Contract Change Order No, 1, attached hereto; and WHEREAS, Change Ordcr No. 1 includes a change in the d and increase quantities to renect as-built conditions and t required for additional work; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. I provides for a net increas in the contract price in th amount of $293,020.90, resulting in a revised contract price 0 $1,807,058.40; and WHEREAS, the Borough's Consulting Engineer, T & M As ociates has advised thatth above describcd changes and/or modifications to the project ere unforeseen at the tim of the award of the original contract. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor nd Borough Council ofth Borough ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jers y, as follows: I. That Contract Change Order No.1, attach hercto and made a palj hereof, providing for a net increase of $293,020,90 in the ov rail contract price, resultin in a revised contract price of$I,S07,058.40, is hereby approv d. 2.
