RESOLUTION NO. 01 -4032
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY IMPOSING PARKING RESTRICTIONS AT THE
CITY'S LAS TUNAS DRIVE /SULTANA AVENUE PARKING LOT
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City recently purchased property which it intends to
develop into a municipal parking lot; and,
WHEREAS, the existing configuration of the lot contains certain parking spaces which
can be immediately made available for public parking; and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the imposition of parking restrictions on
that lot to ensure the limited public parking spaces currently available would be used to their
highest benefit by the most motorists.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. A limitation of two hour parking between the hours of 7:00 AM and 11:00
PM for those parking spaces so signed is hereby approved; and,
SECTION 2. A limitation of no parking between the hours of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM
for those parking spaces so signed is hereby approved; and,
SECTION 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to erect signage or other
appropriate markings and issue permits for certain spaces in the Las Tunas Drive /Sultana
Avenue Parking Lot to tenants in accordance with existing leasehold agreements currently in
force; and,
SECTION 4. Those parking spaces designated "PERMIT PARKING ONLY" by the City
Manager shall be available for exclusive use of those issued an appropriate permit by the City
Manager; and,
SECTION 5. Violation of the parking restrictions imposed by this Resolution shall subject
violators to the sanctions provided in applicable Federal, State, and Local law and the Los
Angeles County Sheriff's Department, or any other authorized law enforcement personnel, are
hereby authorized to issue citations or take other action to enforce this Resolution.

adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City held on the 3rd day of
July, 2001. It was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council by the following vote:
