City's General Plan. Deadline for completing the required elements

which is less,of a hazard. Mr. Asquith explained the geologists

concept of risk which is based on a.recurring activity. In their
opinion Temple City's problems are very limited in view of their
further proximity to the nearest faults; however they feel construction
of critical facilities should be constructed to withstand certain
effects, single family stucco and frame houses are almost indestructible.
In answer to question from Councilman Tyrell regarding water system,
Mr. Asquith stated that in general, pipe lines are not broken unless
close to the fault, and doubted Temple City would have any water line
ruptures.
