HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 01-40431 1 1 RESOLUTION NO. 01 -4043 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY CONCERNING THE CITY MANAGER WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to set a reasonable minimum difference between the base salary of the City Manager and the base salary of the next highest paid City employee; and WHEREAS, this difference has been an informal policy of the City for some time; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to memorialize this policy. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: SECTION 1. The City Manager's base salary is hereby determined to be no Tess than 10% above the highest step of the next highest paid City employee; and SECTION 2. This minimum difference shall become effective after the City Manager has achieved one year of service with the City. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 21st day of August, 2001.
