ACCEPTING REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FROM DES GN IDEAS
GROUP - 2006 ARCHITECTURAL SERVIC
WHEREAS, in September 2006, the Borough issued a Requ st for Proposals
("RFP"), soliciting responses from architects for the position of eneral Architect
Services and Architectural Review for Senior Housing nd Downtown
Improvements for Redevelopment Purposes; and
WHEREAS, the RtP's werc solicited pursuant to a fair and open process 111
accordance with the provisions ofNJ.S.A. 19:44A-20.5; and
WHEREAS, Design Ideas Group, IS Bethany Strcet, New
Jersey 0890], was the only architectural firm who submitted
RFP; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor an

to provide said
WHEREAS, the Borough has reviewed the response submitte
Group and is desirous of approving Design Ideas Group
architectural services.

General Architect Serviccs and Architect Iral Review for

Redevelopment Purposes, pursuant to aut orization by the
Governing Body or the Borough of Carter t Redevelopment
Agency.
2. That this action is approved as an award of a professional
services contract pursuant to NJ.S.A. 40A:11-5(1)(a).
3. That this award is pursuant to a fair and open process 10
accordance with the provisions ofNJ.S.A. 1 :44A-20.5.
