RESOLUTION 2016-11-01
A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE PRELIMINARY COMMUNITY BUILDERS SHARED
VISION, GOALS AND DESIGN IDEAS FOR DOWNTOWN FRASER AND DIRECTING STAFF
TO INITIATE EFFORTS TO IMPLEMENT CERTAIN PROJECTS AND SEEK GRANT
FUNDING ASSISTANCE
WHEREAS, the Town of Fraser has requested and received technical assistance from
Community Builders, an organization that focuses on building strong, prosperous communities
throughout the Rocky Mountain West; and
WHEREAS, Community Builders is currently working on the final technical assistance report;
and
WHEREAS, the Town of Fraser is in receipt of a US40 and design framework illustration
(attached).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF FRASER, COLORADO THAT:
The Board of Trustees of the Town of Fraser endorses the attached conceptual illustration and
has directed staff to initiate implementation and seek grant funding opportunities acknowledging
that the Board will have to appropriate matching funds for any grant sought.
DULY MOVED, SECONDED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th DAY OF November, 2016.
