RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL F OM
EXCEL ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCE -
2006-2007 ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING S'RVICES
WHEREAS, in October 2006, the Borough of Cm1eret (the" orough") issued a
Request for Proposals ("RFP"), soliciting responses fro n environmental
engineering finns for the position of Environmental Consultant 0 the Borough for
development and redevelopment purposes; and
WHEREAS, the RFP's were solicited pursuant to a fair an open process 111
accordance with the provisions ofNJ.S.A. 19:44A-20.5; and
WHEREAS, Excel Environmental Resources ("Excel"), 825 eorges Road, 2nd
Floor, North Brunswick, New Jersey 08902, submitted a respon e to the RFP; and
'VHEREAS, the Borough has reviewed the response submitt d by Excel and is
desirous of approving Excel to provide said environmental serv ces.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor a d Council of the
Borough of Ca11eret as follows:
1. Excel, 825 Georges Road, 2nd Floor, Nm1h Bnm wick, New Jersey
08902, is hereby approved as environmental et ineers to provide
Environmental Consultant Services to t1 e Borough for
development and redevelopment purpos pursuant to
authorization by the Governing Body or the B rough of Carteret
Redevelopment Agency.
2. This action is approved as an award of a pr fessional services
contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:II-5(1)(a).
3. This award is pursuant to a fair and open pro ess in accordance
with the provisions ofNJ.S.A. 19:44A-20.5.
4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
