CREATING HANDICAPPED PARKING S~ACE
FOR 88 HEALD STREET
WHEREAS, Marie Bialowarezuk of 88 Heald Street has requ sted a Handicapped
Parking Space; and
WH EREAS, this individual has met the requirements of the Traf IC Safety Bureau for
said parking space; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has inspected said location an has no ohjection to
the approval of said Handicapped Parking Space; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mayor and
Council of thc Borough of Carteret that the following Handicappe< Parking Space shall
be designated;

Dear Ms. Barney:
As requested, we have investigated the applicant's request fc r the designation of an on-
street handicapped parking space to be located on Heald Street along the property
rrontage. Based on our site visit the property in question m ets the requirements for the
designation of a handicapped parking space, and furthermor , as required by NJSA Title
39:4-8.1, the subject application indicates the applicant poss sses a valid disabled person
identification card.
Therefore, since there are no physical or regulatory res rictions for designating a
handicapped parking space at this location, we have no objec ion to the Borough granting
the applicant's request for a designated handicapped parkin space in front of 88 Heald
Street, subject to the approval of the Borough's Traffic Safet Officer.
