AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CON' RACT WITH
CME ASSOCIA TES/W A TERFRONT PARK PH I\SE II
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional eng neering and surveying
services for the preparation of an As-Built Survey for Waterfront Pa~, Phase II.
WHEREAS, CME Associates, 1460 Route 9 South, Howell, N w Jersey 07731, has
submitted a proposal to provide said engineering and surveying sel" ices at a total cost not
to exceed $1,500.00.
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has reviewed said proposal nd recommended the
award of the same by the Mayor and Council; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has ccrtificd that funds a e or will be available
for said purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and COllncil of the Borough of
Calieret, Connty of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from CME Associates, for the preparation 0 an as-built survey for
Waterfront Park, Phase II for the same in accordance with Green I\cres standards, in an
amount not to exceed $1,500.00, is hereby approved.
2. This award is made as a professional service contrac pursuant to N.J.S.A.
40A:11-
5(1 )(a), and pursuant to a "fair and open" process and shall be ad ertised as required by
law
3. A copy of this Resolution to be forwarded to the Borougr 's Purchasing
Department and CME Associates.

Pursuant to your request, CME Associates is pleased to resent this proposal for the
preparation of an As-Built Survey for the above-referenced ite.
The scope of our services shall include:
· Preparation of an As-Built Survey including all field a d office work required to as-
built the Phase II Waterfront Park improvements, inclu ing the bituminous walkway,
pedestrian bridges, planters, exercise stations, perime er of 1S-hole miniature golf
course, timber railing, fencing, culvert pipe, headwalls, t t lot perimeter, gazebo, and
