HomeMy Public PortalAbout062-2014 - Budget ReductionsORDINANCE NO.62-2014 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A REDUCTION IN APPROPRIATIONS FROM CERTAIN FUNDS WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for calendar year 2014 on October 21st, 2013 with Ordinance 51-2013; and WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances that will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, thus allowing the aforementioned reductions. NOW, THERFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the following reductions in appropriations are hereby approved for the funds as indicated: 1. Reductions in General Fund Mayor Personnel Services 5,000 Total Mayor 5,000 Human Resources Personal Services 20,000 Total Human Resources 20,000 Metropolitan Development Personal Services 25,000 Total Metropolitan Development 25,000 Engineering Personal Services 20,000 Total Metropolitan Development 20,000 Board of Works Other Services & Charges 10,000 Total Board of Works 10,000 Police Personal Services 80,000 Total Police 80,000 Total General Fund 160,000 2.
