AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) WITHIN
THE ENGINEERS BUDGET FROM GENERAL H-18 (3-32-324) OTHER GARAGE AND JUTOR
SUPPLIES, "SUPPLIES" TO GENERAL H-24 (7-72-726) OTHER EQUIPMENT, "PROPERTIES".
WHEREAS, a request has been made by the Engineering Department to transfer
the sum of one hundred dollars 4$100.00) from General H-18 (3-32-324)
Other Garage and Motor Supplies, "Supplies" to General H-24 ( 7-72-726 )
Other Equipment, "Properties".
WHEREAS, the Board -of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond after
careful study and consideration on the 29th day of May, 1969, approved that
an ordinance -be prepared for Common Council's consideration to make the above
transfer of funds, "and `
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption
of the existing anpuil budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate
more money for the":various functions of the City Government than was appropri-
ated in the annual budget.
NOW THEREHM, BE IT ORDAINED by .the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana.
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions
for the year ending December $1, 1969, the following money is hereby appropri-
ated and set apart out of the fund named for the purpose specified. Said sum
being subject to all laws governing the same. Such amount appropriated shall
be held to include all expenditures authorized to be made during the
unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal period there is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund Cash Operating to meet the extraordinary emergency declared to
exist.

SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations
now have unobligated balances which will not be used for the purpose appropri-
ated.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana
that such unnecessary existing appropriations be now reduced in amount as
follows: and the same is appropriated to the above named item.

SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
