SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The second portion of the work session will be a presentation by Jim Pace regarding the conceptual proposal
for a community space and boat house structure on City owned property know as the Spruce Street right-
of-way and Hill Climb Park. The City Council should consider the following questions related to the boat
house and public facility concept:
1. Is the Council supportive of this concept on the City owned property?
2. Is the Council supportive of this facilty being publicly owned and operated by the Parks and
Recreation Department?
The Project Overview and Design Drawing documents are attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Provide staff with direction on the conceptual project.
