SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City of McCall currently has an account with the Idaho Bureau of Federal Surplus Property; however,
that account needs to be renewed as it expired in 2012. In years past the parks department and various other
departments have purchased Federal surplus property such as vehicles, equipment, and office supplies at a
significant cost savings. The parks department feels there may be an opportunity to save money on future
equipment needs.
Staff requests that the Council review and approve the application.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the renewal application to view and or purchase Federal surplus properties and authorize the
Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
