SUMMARY STATEMENT:
This application is for a FAA AIP grant to reimburse the City for land acquisition and associated
the four properties purchased to enable the relocation of the parallel taxiway. Upon acceptance of
the City will be obligated to comply with the FAA grant assurances in perpetuity or until the
this grant to the FAA. This is not a new obligation, the grant received when the City relocated
Lane had the same terms. The Airport Fund and State fund amounts are estimated as the State
provided a grant offer, we use 2.5% for planning knowing the State grant offer could be higher
not as high (less likely).
This project is on the city, state and FAA capital improvement plans as a primary project for FY18

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve submission of an Airport Improvement Program Grant to the Federal Aviation Administration
for reimbursement for land acquisition and associated costs and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary
documents.
