SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Library Ambassadors request a letter from Council members to demonstrate to potential donors and
foundations that the City Council is supportive of efforts to improve the public library for our community.
The letter would be used to facilitate communications with prospective donors in one-on-one meetings and
in grant applications, as part of a larger packet that fully describes the conceptual plans. A draft letter is
attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Authorize the Mayor to sign a general letter of support for Library Expansion Project on behalf of City
Council.
