SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Downtown Core Reconstruction design team last met with City Council on January 25, 2018 to provide
an overview of downtown core master plan development history and the approved schedule for phased
nd
implementation. This work session will focus on Phase 1A (underground utility improvements on 2 and
Lenora Streets) scheduled to be completed during Summer 2018. Included with this agenda bill is a copy
of the PowerPoint presentation that will be presented by Horrocks and City staff. Important aspects of this
phase that affect the downtown businesses and property owners including road closures, construction
sequencing, signage, and public outreach will be discussed. Updated project costs and schedule revisions
including bidding and contract award dates will also be presented.
