AUTHORIZING VARIOUS PROFESSINAL SERVICES GREEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Borough is in need of various professional legal, ngineering and
planning services with regard to the various ongoing matters; and
WHEREAS, the following professional service providers and/or e tities posses th~
requisite skill and expertise to provide said services; and

WHEREAS, said professional service providers and/or entities h ve agreed to provide
the requisite professional services at a cost not to exceed the amou ts listed;

WHEREAS, the Borough's Chief Financial Officer has certificd t]at funds are available
for said purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by thc Mayor and ouncil of the Borough
of Carteret that the above-referenced professional legal, eng neering, and planning
service providers and/or entities are hereby authorized to provide the related professional
services with regard to the above-referenced projects in an am unt not to exceed the
respective authorizations.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the award of a con ract to the respective
professional scrvice providers and/or entitics is an award of professional services
contract and that a copy of this resolution bc forwarded to th Borough's Purchasing
Department.
